Come eat with us!

Varun and I were catching up over a beer recently, when we got to talking about food. You won’t be surprised to learn that we love food, and we’ve both been in New York for long enough to know how special the food industry is here. In this enormous city, it might be the single biggest driver of community, of shared experiences, and even of innovation. If you spend much time here, you’ll pretty quickly find yourself comparing notes with your friends on your favorite meals of the weekend. Which is what we were doing. What’s worth it? Where can you get in without a wait? Have you heard about this place?

As we talked, we realized food is also what we do when friends are in town - try and blow their minds with the best places we can find. It’s the best way to show people we care about how special this city is. Find ways to taste the best stuff and show off the coolest places. It occurred to us that someone should really create a great experience that does exactly that. We might even make some new friends along the way.

Details

  • Well…a lot of food, and we provide all of it for you. You can expect 6-8 stops, with food included at each stop. We want the portions to feel substantial, but also want you to enjoy everything. A full slice of pizza, half an open faced bagel, things like that.

  • If it’s scary outside, we’d rather be safe. We can refund or reschedule you. If it’s just a little wet outside, we have a tour route that makes sure you don’t get drenched. It’s always good to bring the essentials - sunscreen for warm days, an umbrella for the wet ones.

  • We think it’s quite manageable. It’s about 1.5 miles (2.5 km) over the course of 2.5 hours. There’s opportunities to sit, use the bathroom, and hydrate. If there’s any accommodations you may need, please contact us directly. We want to make sure you’re comfortable.

  • The tour starts at St. Vincent’s Triangle at the corner of West 11th Street and 7th Avenue in the West Village. It ends about half a mile away. It’s accessible from the 1/2/3 and A/B/C/D/E/F/L/M trains. We always start at 10:30am sharp!

  • We take dietary restrictions seriously, and we value being transparent first and foremost.

If you’re vegetarian, vegan, or dairy-free, this tour can comfortably accommodate your restrictions!

If you are gluten-free or have a severe nut allergy, this tour will be trickier for you, and we don’t really recommend it.

If you have any other restrictions, we can likely make it work for you! Just shoot us a message ahead of time.

  • Always welcome! They can either come as full participants, are just tag along and have some snacks along the way. We have a ticket option to support that!
